May 2013 Meeting
The chapter will participate in the Maritime Day Celebration in Washington, D.C. on May 22 in lieu of meeting May 21. Anyone interested in participating shoild contact Capt. Hartnett.

2013 National Maritime Day aboard the N/S Savannah

The CAMM Baltimore / Washington D.C. Chapter will participate in the 2013 National Maritime Day celebration aboard the N/S Savannah on May 18. Anyone interested in participating should contact Capt Hartnett.

2013 Congressional Sail-In

The Chapter participated in the 2013 Maritime Industry Congressional Sail-In in Washington, D.C. on May 8, 2013.

Chapter makes donations to local academy and Seafarer's Center
The chapter members presented the Maritime Industries Academy of Baltimore and the Apostleship of the Sea Seafarer's Center in Dundalk with donations in November. The chapter has also offered to volunteer whenever possible at both facilities.

Seafarers' Center Golf Fundraiser

Seafarers Center Golf Tourney As part of our continuing efforts to support the local seafarer’s, eight members of our chapter participated as a sponsor for the Baltimore International Seafarer’s Center Golf Outing on Sept. 28th. The seafarer centers continue to express the need for ship’s visitors and we are trying to fulfill that need. Please contact Captain Joe Hartnett for more information.

Meetings

Meetings will take place (unless otherwise noted) at the Pilot Maritime Center 3720 Dillon Street Baltimore, Maryland 21224. The meeting will commence at 1200. Please RSVP to CaptHartnett@mastermariner.org. All existing and prospective new members of CAMM are invited to attend. Meetings are held monthly, except June-August.

All existing members of the CAMM Balt/Wash Chapter are asked to contact CaptHartnett@MasterMariner.org and provide their updated contact information.

Membership

Any member of the National CAMM in good standing, residing, working, or otherwise situated within the Baltimore - Washington DC area are eligible to join this Chapter of CAMM. Members of the national Council not residing or working in the area described and not affiliated with another established chapter of the CAMM may be a member of and associate with the Baltimore - Washington DC Area Chapter.

We also offer a "Companion" membership class for members who are not members of National CAMM. Companion members shall have all the rights and privileges of active membership, with the exception of voting and holding elective office.

Annual dues for the Baltimore - Washington DC Area Chapter are $15. To apply for Chapter Membership, please contact Capt. Joe Hartnett.
