The regular monthly luncheon meetings of the Seattle/Pacific NW Chapter have served the membership will in accomplishing one of the stated CAMM objectives, which is to foster the exchange of maritime information and experience. Besides good food, sea stories and maritime-related discussions, a majority of the meetings have a guest speaker.

We are seeking golfers of all abilities - Weekend hackers and low handicappers welcome.
The Seattle Chapter of the Council of American Master Mariners (CAMM) hosts The Bob Magee Memorial Golf Tournament -- CAMM Seattle PNW Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Mount Si Golf Course the first week of September. The four-man scramble, shotgun start at 10:00 benefits the Youth Maritime Training Academy (YMTA) of Ballard.
YMTA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting maritime education and training programs for Washington State high school and middle school students. One out every four jobs in Washington state are tied to the shipping industry and by supporting this event you will be directly helping Seattle’s youth become educated to the benefits of working in the Maritime Industry. Consider sponsoring a foursome for your employees to help connect them to the future of the maritime service.
The registration fee includes the round of golf, cart, driving range, drink coupons, and a buffet dinner. Featured events for the day will include: Putting Contest, Hole in One Contests, Closest to the Pin Contest, Most Accurate Drive, Mulligans, Longest Drive Contest, John Daly “Gripit and Ripit” Drive Hole, and an Awards Dinner after golfing with an Auction or Raffle. Any member of the National CAMM in good standing, residing, working, or otherwise situated in the Puget Sound Area is eligible to join the SPNW Chapter. Please contact an officer for an application and more information.
