The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter has decided not to conduct a meeting on January 5, 2010. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you.
The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter serves the San Francisco Bay Area Ports. We are a fraternal and benevolent society, contributing to the best interests and well being of its members both professionally and socially.
Our mission is to recognize, foster and otherwise assist all wise and provident measures dedicated to the furtherance of the Maritime industry of the United States of America; to assist in the enhancement of the stature of the American Master Mariner; and to promote accomplishment of those purposes set forth in the Declaration of Policy in the constitution of the national Council of American Master Mariners, Inc.
The SFBA recieved its charter into CAMM on September 30, 1971.
Chapter meetings are held regularly on the first Tuesday of each month. Attitude Adjustment starts at 1130, lunch at 1200. Meetings are typically held at Sinbad’s Pier 2 Restaurant in San Francisco (immediately south of the Ferry Building). Access is available by BART, Ferry, CalTrain, MUNI and car. There is limited Valet parking available for $4.00. Street parking is VERY limited.
Any member of the National CAMM in good standing, residing, working, or otherwise situated within the San Francisco Bay Area are eligible to join the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of CAMM.
